With rising gas and oil prices wood is now the cheapest
heating fuel in the UK.
-
Does your organisation have buildings with large heat
loads?
-
Are you concerned about the rising cost of
traditional heating fuels such as oil?
-
Would you like to know more about the advantages
offered by modern wood heating systems to your local community?
If you answer yes to any of these questions then come
to the wood heating event and talk to the experts about wood as a fuel and
other renewable energy technologies.
The event is free and will cover:
· Details of BioMAP
· An overview of modern biomass heating systems
· Economics of using wood heating, from capital costs
and available grants to running costs compared with conventional heating
fuels
· Advantages to local communities of using wood as a
fuel
· A site visit to the biomass heating system and
chipping operation
