It includes information about consultants, funding projects and more information on the visits we have organised to various renewable energy plants. We aim to be the first place you visit to help get your renewable energy project started.

• We have helped a local estate owner select a consultant and they are working together to develop a local biomass district heating scheme.

• The Petersfield study is up and running and the consultants Econergy Ltd aim:

• To assess the options for developing renewable energy applications in Petersfield

• From this, to gain an understanding of the main opportunities and associated issues that would apply to similar market towns elsewhere in the region

• to identify live ‘pioneer’ projects that can be developed over a relatively short timescale and thereby provide a lead for further development

• We have arranged a series of visits to a range of different renewable technology plants, for details of the visits look at the Events page.

• A new project is under development which aims to identify any barriers to renewable energy plants within the local governments own estate.
