Mission Statement

The Natural Light Partnership aims to aid development of renewable energy projects on a scale that is consistent with the nature of the resource and the needs of the local communities, in a way that is sustainable in the long term and capable of successful replication at a variety of locations.

Welcome to the Natural Light Partnership

For small-scale renewable energy projects to get off the ground, that is to move from an idea to an actual working plant, can be an enormously onerous task. If we are to increase capacity in the Southeast for renewable energy then this task must be simplified. Our aim is to give clear information, help or guidance, as needed by each individual project, through the present maze of technical and other information.

We aim:

  • to help pass on the lessons learned by others
  • to raise awareness of renewable energy opportunities within the decision makers
  • to offer appropriate help to developing small scale projects

Who are we?

  • Partnership of councils from Hampshire & West Sussex along with a variety of government organisations who are interested in renewable energy.

What are we doing?

  • Raising awareness of renewable energy opportunities within the counties of Hampshire & West Sussex.
  • Collating and disseminating information about renewable energy.
  • Working to help any developing project within Hampshire & west Sussex and ensure relevant information is disseminated.
  • Developing new projects as identified.

If you are interested in local sustainable resources being used to benefit the local community, then read on. This web site aims to hold the kind of information you will need to get a renewable energy project up and running.

If your organisation is in Hampshire or West Sussex and you would like to know more about renewable energy and the work of the Natural Light Partnership, please contact Linda at linda.glynn@naturallight.org.uk or on +44 (0)1962 772030.
